Future Ready Children & Youth is Humara Bachpan Trust’s work that adds to HBT’s child protection and development work by building the capabilities children need as critical thinkers, safe and creative users of technology, climate changemakers and civic leaders. They carry these capabilities from childhood into youth, and from their own lives into their homes, schools and communities.
Built on years of transforming young lives
Since 2014, HBT has reached 1,35,000+ children, empowered 51,000 adolescent girls and certified 45,144 girls through transformational life skills programme. It has built 252 child clubs and 415 adolescent clubs with over 16,000 members, and trained 450+ adolescents as Public Space Ambassadors. This work helped Bhubaneswar become India’s first Child-Friendly City.
